In this exceptional essay, Alice Holzhey-Kunz, Swiss psychotherapist and psychotherapist, attempts a new, comprehensive and systematic consideration of dasein-analytical psychotherapy. Taking advantage of the philosophical anthropology of Martin Heidegger from his famous work “Being and Time”, she presents a version of dasein-analysis that not only denounces Freudian psychoanalysis, but also explicitly reconnects with it, while seeking to be in dialogue with other related psychotherapeutic directions. Alice Holzhey-Kunz (1943) studied philosophy and history in Zurich. After completing her training in psychotherapy under Medard Boss at the Dasein-Analytical Institute in Zurich, she devoted herself to the theory and practice of dasein-analysis. He has published three books and many articles in collective works and magazines. She has also edited the new edition of selected works by Ludwig Binswanger. Thanks to her work and action, she is today one of the most prominent representatives of this psychotherapeutic direction. |
